Cha am and Hua hin is certainly a break from the hustle and bustle from Bangkok and Pataya. Very different style and relaxing.  I tried the Thai massage around the night market at night and during the day.  Both times very relaxing experience.  Much cheaper than Bangkok.  The girls speak very little English, but the owner/cashier does so you can communicate first.  My first experience was very funny since the girl wanted to talk to me in Thai.  I only know a few words so the process was hilarious.  I think I enjoyed that more than the massage.  Both shops cater to tourists and welcome both female and male customers.  I don't think there is any monkey business on the side.
Both Cha am and Hua hin cater to the retired/retiring crowds.  I passed by the bars but the bar girls are older and not attractive at all.  Don't waste your money there.

Understood.  Hua Hin is really for relaxation without hanky panky.

Thanks for the report!
People who travel to Hua Hin are into peace and quiet. Cheap food and nice beach.
If people are after sex. They go to Pattaya!
