It was also decades ago when I watched this black and white movie in Pearl with my mother. Audery was and still is my mother's idol. It was a very simple story, a cheer one, and also a sad one, for a pricess that time could have such a chance to fool around in public, fall in love with a civilian, and got no choice but to get back into palace. I remember quite well the ending, after Gregory handed her the photos, she looked, then left, and then all the reportors left, and Gregory was still standing in the hall, seemed waiting for her to come back in, yet he knew this would never come true, then turned back, and walked out. Years ago I bought the DVD, and watch from time to time again.
